Position Opening - Canada Division Director

Division Director - VATCANThis position is appointed by and reports directly to the VATSIM North America Regional Director. The position has the authority to to appoint staff members within the Canada Division and oversees the administration of the Division.

The Canada Division Director is responsible for the day-to-day operations relating to the operation of the Division, and is accountable for all services provided by the Division. Services include ATC services, training and user support services. The Director will also be responsible for the timely submission of monthly status reports to the Regional Director.

This position requires a dedicated and motivated person who has the time to give. Do not apply if you have the slightest doubt about the time commitment.

Applicants should have at least 12-months membership with VATSIM with considerable experience in a staff position. Applicants should also possess demonstrated management and leadership skills.

North America Region Deputy RD Announced

I am pleased to annouce that Karl Kleiber has been selected as the Deputy Regional Director for North America.   Until recently Karl served as the Air Traffic Manager (ATM) for the VATUSA New York ARTCC.  Anyone familiar with ZNY knows that they are a top-notch group and owe much of their continued success to Karl’s leadership and a dedicated team at ZNY.  I look forward to working with Karl and know he will serve the region well in this capacity.

US Division Director Selected

Gary Millsaps has been selected as the United States Division Director.  We look forward to continued growth and success for the division under Gary’s leadership.
